Tried this for the first time ever and it is really good but I must
say I need to put more to feel the cheesy taste but I will definitely experiment with it later, to make vegan parmesan and that sort of things 🌏🤩 #impactfulapril

These are the first yeast flakes that I tried and I'm impressed. They really add
a nice flavours and they can totally replace parmesan.

It is called nutritional yeast or yeast flakes or Nooch and it can for instance
be used as a cheese substitute on top of your pasta or to make vegan cheese yourself. I found it in a health food store nearby. I paid 3.79 € for 125 g which is a good price even compared to online shops. They provide valuable nutrients especially Vitamin B1/2/6 (unfortunately not B12) which are important for your metabolism, immune system and blood formation.
At first I was a little bit reluctant with yeast flakes in general because I haven't heard about it, but it is really a great dairy-free way to get a cheese-ish taste.
What cheese alternatives do you prefer? I still think that nothing can really replace real cheese.

Very good I use it to make my own vegan Parmesan with cashews and miso,
I use it also to give the cheese flavor to my dishes
