This is super delicious and so important to have (for me at least) for all the mutton-less,beef-less and lamb-less and soups and stews. I am so happy to have this. Yummmy!
I’ve been searching for a good vegan pho that actually replicates the flavours of beef broth but all I’ve found are boring veggie broth versions. I bought these bouillon cubes to try to spice it up and they’re delicious. Not exactly like pho but I’ve also had these on their own with boiling water when I need a salty soup fix. I will be buying these again!
Not Beef cubes are excellent for flavoring gravies and sauces. Pictured here is my freshly made seitan steaming on the stove in a pot of simmering Not Beef cubes and bay leaves. I recommend using an entire cube per cup of water even though the package says only use a half cube per cup. This makes the broth saltier but it's overall more flavorful that way in recipes.
Really good, very beefy flavour vegan alternative for bullion.
