I wonder what they are doing at "Driscoll's" that they can grow such unusually large berries... 🤔 Maybe they have a secret spring of mystical water, with which they water the plants... 🤔 or they say anything special to the plants to let the berries grow larger... 🤔🔮 ? 😉😆

My family has gathered at my sister’s place on Long Island to

celebrate Christmas. Drscoll’s Blackberries from FreshDirect are a staple in this household. They’re fresh, VERY plump, delicious and healthy. I was glad to see FreshDirect didn’t needlessly pack the plastic container of blackberries in another plastic container (unlike the Driscoll’s raspberries I just reviewed).

The blackberries are part of my fruit assortment for breakfast.

My all-time #berrylover favorites (sorry, raspberries;) I could easily polish off the entire clamshell in

one sitting! Safeway had these 6 oz. containers for $2.50, which I suppose is reasonable enough.
These #fresh blackberries are large, juicy, and bursting with a bright, tart sweetness. I love crunching on the tiny seeds, too. They have been an excellent addition to my oatmeal and yogurt bowls, and despite the recent gray weather, savoring a handful never fails to transport me to a balmy summer afternoon.
