At least they are not in a plastic container. I wish though they would do something about that glue band, it could be made of so many other materials out of plastic.

Dole as a company has faced a lot of accusations in the past for the harsh labor conditions of its workers as well as harmful for the environment cultivation methods. As for the product itself it tastes good and its price is rather low taking into consideration it's an organic product. Of course, it's way less tasty than organic Greek bananas but they cost almost twice the price and it's not that easy to find them. Dole organic bananas are sold in most big super markets around Greece. Personally I will opt for a different company with more ethical practices.
