I used to always eat these as a child. I was quite surprised to see this at a regular grocery store (Billa) in the “Feinkost” area. It is a bit pricey I have to say that. And taste wise its not a 100% match to the non vegan version in my opinion but it also has been years since I had my last so I am probably not the best to judge. I feel like the edges are not as crisp and the “meat” taste is a bit different. Probably wont be a regular buy but it was nice to try.

When I was still eating meat, I loved meat loaf. I like this version very much, maybe a bit salty (and expensive), but for me it's still the best alternative on the market! #veganisnotscary #vienna
ok, this one blew my mind! this kind had vegan cheese in it, which meldet juat perfectly. this is a typical austrian & german meat dish. only veganized and better tasting than i remember the original. leberkäse is some kind of grilled meat loaf and is mostly served in a bun. can't wait to have this again.
