This was my first try of packaged vegan mac and cheese and I thought it was quite good! I’m not gluten intolerant so I would switch out the pasta next time but the sauce was really tasty. Definitely a comfort meal #veganmacandcheeze #pasta #veganpasta #vegancomfortfood #macandcheeze

I have never tried daiya boxed mac and cheese (or any other vegan boxed mac and cheese) prior to this mostly because they’re usually expensive for what you get. While in whole foods I saw they were on sale at $3 a box, so I grabbed a few to try. This flavour didn’t exactly taste like what the box says, I didn’t taste any of the “four cheese” and it reminded me of when I would mix pasta with salad dressing because that was all we had at home (guess the “herbs” flavour overpowers it). It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either, it was definitely filling though. I think it might taste better cold/as a salad base, but I probably wouldn’t buy this flavour again.
