This is the first vegan cream cheese I've tried so I have nothing to compare
it to. I thought it was a bit dense and the consistency was more like butter? It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I tried it plain and it tastes somewhat like dairy cream cheese but definately has a coconut aftertaste.
I think as long as you pair it with something else that has a strong flavour, it'll likely serve its purpose just fine. I had it with a fig and onion spread and sweet jalapeño jelly on crackers and the combos were really yummy.
I would probably buy it again. I didn't enjoy it plain but then again, I'm never just eating plain cream cheese on anything, so it shouldn't be a problem!
