At home sick today and hoping to (coherently) knock out a few overdue reviews, starting with this #coconut-based #yogurt. According to my notes, this #ditchdairy #blueberry yogurt was very tasty! I recall it being slightly more liquid and much smoother than the Bourbon Vanilla I tried previously (I’m increasingly convinced I must’ve gotten a weird batch; I bought three of those and they were all bizarrely solid and waxy, to the point where it felt like eating a candle!) This #berrylover flavor reminded me of the Cocojune mixed berry overnight oats I raved about earlier this year, which I suppose makes sense as their ingredients are quite similar. I appreciate that the sweetness is detectable but not over the top (it has 5g fewer sugars than Silk yogurt, for instance.) I didn’t really notice any lavender, really. It is super rich, and consequently, extremely high in saturated fat (90% DV!,) moderate in sugars, and low in protein — so not for the health-conscious. I used to love these yogurts, but lately they’ve been leaving me with an unsettled gut feeling, so I’m not sure if I will continue to review them. $0.99 #groceryoutletfinds, normally ~$3 elsewhere.
