I give this 4 star because I found it a bit too salty for my
taste. But it is overall good, and I will buy it again, especially as it is particularly useful for when you do not want to make efforts to prepare a souce for your lunch 🍝

I haven't tried this on it's own, but I like to add 2 teaspoons to
creamy pastas. It adds a nice flavour.

There is a theme with my reviews, I don't score high, why? Because only fresh
produce will consistently get 4 and 5 stars from me....... I'm just like that. Anyway, this Pesto Genovese is pretty decent, i can't keep a Basil plant alive even if my own life depended on it, so getting that stuff mixed with some oil and nuts in a jar is the next best thing. I usually mix this in a salad or with Avocado to make avocado pesto to put on whole wheat pasta, yummy! As you can see, the jar is tiny, don't expect many servings, else just be better than I am and develop a green thumb and harvest your own basil, I'm sure YOU can do it!

It's so good and so tasty, but nutritionally...I find healthier the vegan pesto from Jumbo
