Super excited to try Climax Food’s first commercial cheese since I’ve been following the company for a while. I tried it at Butcher’s Son in Berkeley, where it costs $3.50 for the amount in the pictures. Expensive! The blue cheese flavor was on point, definitely rich and funky. However I thought the appearance was a bit off-putting since the base color was more gray than white. I found the texture grainy and a bit too soft rather than crumbly. I’ve had equally good vegan blue cheese from other companies. Overall a good but not spectacular product in my opinion.
