What exactly are Lärabars? I think of them as a sort of less-processed candy bar, especially if you refrigerate them beforehand, which helps to solidify that sticky date texture. Having tried a handful of different flavors (5+ now,) I can confidently say that this #chocoholic and #berrylover pairing is easily my favorite. It actually tastes like dessert. I like that it’s made with real #raspberry that you can taste and feel. Of course, that means lots of little seeds, which can be vexing; keep some dental floss nearby. I also appreciate that the #dates don’t overpower the rich #cocoa flavor. Though it’s definitely on the sweet side for me, I enjoy one of these truffle bars occasionally as a relatively wholesome, simple-ingredient alternative to a chocolate bar or other treat. These were a pretty good deal — $2.99 for a box of 8 #groceryoutletfinds In the future, I would like to see more transparency about their cacao sourcing.
