I received these chocolates 🍫 for Easter and shared them with omnis who really appreciated. It allowed me to initiate a discussion on the fact that chocolate is not always vegan. But I’m still uncomfortable 😣 with chocolate from big brands like Cadbury who aren’t Snow White when it comes to animal cruelty… Cocoa from #sustainable source 100% This chocolate is good but I think I got used to dark chocolate #teamdarkchocolate and don’t enjoy mylk chocolate as much as I did in my childhood! As for the ingredients, I would have liked to know if the vegetable oil is palm oil…

The good-I finally found them! The Cadbury plant bars! I’m just happy to have another option to try. I love chocolate but I haven’t really found many good vegan ones. The bad-I’m a not a fan of salt in chocolate generally. So I knew I wouldn’t be crazy about the salted caramel flavour but I had to try the two flavours. It is too sweet like it’s sweetened with something else. The salt is pretty noticeable and the texture isn’t very creamy. The ugly- I paid R125 for two on takealot which was a bit steep but the only other place I had found them is online stores with expired stock. Its alright but I’m not rushing to buy more.
