Actually a reasonable effort from BA relative to the competition's vegan offerings. The first meal
had this amazingly piquant and fragrant #tofu in #spicy red sauce with mixed root vegetables and #whiterice 😋 The #salad was uninspiring and ordinary, the #bread was gluten-free (because, y'know, you can just lump all the dietaries into one big bucket 🙄), and the dessert was a tasty slice of #chocolatecake. The biggest blemish was that they provided one of those UHT milk things for the coffee service, which unfortunately was dairy (Finnair had soy!) I told them that it had no place on a vegan meal tray, they said that I could just leave it to one side if it bothered me 🙄
For the pre-landing meal there was a small #wrap with forgettables inside, as well as a decent-sized Alpro yoghurt carton. I wish they would do away with second service on flights shorter than 12 hours; completely unnecessary and I'd much rather just sleep 😑
The route for this was LHR/BOM, but abillion thinks I'm in HK 😏 The most memorable part of the flight was the 20-hour delay, thanks BA.
