Here are just a few experiments I’ve tried with this excellent #veganbaking ingredient: savory socca/#farinata, soy-free Burmese Shan tofu… I’ve also added it to my seitan in the past, as it allegedly improves the texture, and I’ve made a number of #chickpea scrambles (though I’m not yet happy with the results.) I would consider #chickpeaflour a pantry essential, as it can be used for so many recipes, especially to replace eggs. It’s also very nutritious! #garbanzos #glutenfree I think I will try to find a larger bag next time, as I went through 1 lb. very quickly. It was $3.59 at Nob Hill. The bag has a Velcro closure, which I found interesting.
