I got this on special at Woolworths, I think it was about R40-50. The flavour and texture were really chicken-like. It’s impressive but also the more something resembles actual animal flesh, the more uncomfortable I find it to consume. I prefer the Woolies’ and Fry’s schnitzels. I was happy to try this product but wouldn’t buy it at its original price of R80-90. #veganfortheanimals #veganfortheplanet

These were okay, but for me, they depend on other flavours to make them pop... A squeeze of lemon, bit of sauce etc.
Bought it on sale. Not worth the full price in my opinion. Beyond meat is really expensive and I like the Jumbo brand schnitzel better. The jumbo brand schnitzels have more breading, which makes them crispier. The texture is also better. #beyondmeat #jumbo #justokay #notworththefullprice
Some people are more of a chicken burger type, I myself am not, but I did try it and I did like the taste and sensation of it, good to also have a solid vegan chicken burger option available!
Honestly I'm disappointed, remembered to pork more than to chicken, and the coating was falling apart while cooking it 😅 for beyond meat brand, I expected more
