Have you tried any #beyondmeat product and not be wowed by it? This was amazing!

I used to be a huge fan of the KFC famous bowl. So I made a vegan version of the famous bowl with the popcorn #chikn. I can’t wait to make it again.

I just need #gardein to start selling it’s #gravy separately! 😄

Upon opening the bag, there’s a very offensive smell, but I’m glad that I didn’t

let that stop me from trying it. I popped these into my air fryer, and the result was a very tasty and crispy nugget, almost reminiscent of the KFC chicken I used to enjoy a long time ago. The awful smell is gone too after it’s cooked. I’ve been enjoying these in wraps, as photo’d here, and just as is with dipping sauces for late night snacks. Sodium is very high, but the protein, fiber and iron it contains make it not so bad.

I’ve never had popcorn chicken before- vegan or otherwise- and now I have 2 brands

of vegan popcorn chicken in my freezer. Beyond Chicken Tenders are a favorite of mine so I decided to try these Beyond Popcorn Chicken first.

These are essentially mini chicken nuggets, and they are very good! I was afraid that with a product like this the breading would be overwhelming but I found these still had a good “meaty” bite. They are lightly seasoned and very satisfying.

I wasn’t able to get them to the crisp I wanted following the oven instructions, so I broiled them for a bit after exceeding the 6 minute cook time. Though it took a little bit longer, this was still a pretty fast cook time and they came out nice and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

It is unfortunate that these are contained in plastic, but that’s the industry standard at the moment and I’m glad that the pouch is resealable so no additional plastic bags or fasteners are needed to keep it securely closed in the freezer.

I ate these sprinkled on a salad, topped with vegan ranch dressing.

I purchased these for $4.98 at Walmart. I’ve not seen them at other stores but I imagine that they are or will be available at stores that sell other frozen Beyond products.

So the texture is good but doesn't have a lot of spice. I eat with

the Hidden Valley vegan ranch. They are expensive for what's in the bag. I wish beyond with have more sustainable packaging and put more in each package even if cost more. So much packaging for so little food. Across all their stuff except their campfire burger box.

These are great vegan popcorn chicken! They are bigger than the usual morningstar ones and

taste a lot like the tenders, which I love!
