I served this #accidentalvegan dish to my 3 meat-eating pals (without making a fuss about

it being Beyond meat) and all 3 of them asked this question: How come and how can this taste so much like beef?

I wouldn’t try to pass Beyond off as meat (Impossible wins on likeness to the real thing for me) but Beyond is a delicious and valid alternative. It’s beefy, not beef - I gave up meat on purpose, so I’m not looking for things that taste and look just like it!

5 stars, only drawback: let’s be real here, it makes you a little bit gassy the next morning 😅

Oh I love to devour this #crumbles on my pasta, I need to simmer these

crumbles with soy sauce because altho it already has its flavor and smells, if you just you use it as it is, it doesn’t bring the chewy and meaty taste you’d love.

This best with #tomato sauce or carbonara as I tried it with pesto and that doesn’t work well. #veganin2020

This is similar to ground beef, as it is bland in taste when prepared alone.

It’s excellent to season and add to other dishes though, such as tacos or mac n’ cheese. #beyondmeat #target
