I add chia seeds to my oatmeal and fruit salads. I absolutely love them and they add a lot of good omega 3 and protein to your dishes. They do expand and soften a little when exposed to moisture. I like them hard/raw and soaked.

I purchased this so I could add some extra "good stuff" into my smoothies.
I use these seeds in a lot of things like jam and overnight oats. The price seems high but the bottle goes a long way so it’s pretty affordable.
My favorite breakfast is chia pudding. This large container makes a ton and is packed with protein!
