Not everyone in our house appreciated these truffels, but I was truly impressed. They are
soft, creamy blocks of dark chocolate goodness that melt in your mouth in the most delightful way.
They are not sweet— maybe it helps to read the #nosugaradded label and adjust one’s expectations before taking a bite. They are sweetened with just enough inulin to take the edge off the cocoa. Inulin is a fiber that’s usually chicory-derived. It’s low glycemic, acts as a prebiotic and increases calcium absorption.
Bonus points also for the #biodegradable wrapper. ☺️♻️
