This Barista Oat version is very creamy whereas the soy version is not. (I reviewed the Earth’s Own Barista Soy version a few weeks ago) The oat version whitens my coffee much better than the soy version. I don’t froth the milk as it was probably intended to be. I just simply shake the carton and pour. The taste isn’t bad, but I think it would be better if I frothed it as it’s supposed to be. Nutritionally, one serving provides a lot of potassium, phosphorus, and calcium without a lot of calories, fat and sugar. When I bought the two cartons of Barista Oat, they were on sale for about $3; I think the regular price is around $5 which I consider a little steep. I might buy this again if it’s on sale, I prefer Silk Coffee Creamer instead, maybe because it’s sweeter and thicker.
