È la prima volta che acquisto il jackfruit in lattina ed ero molto curiosa perché
soprattutto in America si usa molto come sostituto della carne. Io ho fatto un curry con zucca e spinacino e devo dire che si la consistenza è veramente “carnosa” però come gusto non ci siamo.. è veramente insipido. Forse bisogna trattarlo diversamente anche se ho seguito la ricetta alla lettera quindi boh..

We love using canned jackfruit for lots of applications. I ordered this from Amazon because
it’s not available in my small rural town. I really wish Amazon would pack their stuff better because I’m always getting dented cans which is a drag. However, it’s so easy to make a quick barbecue sandwich or to spruce up anything that has a chicken or pork application. We try to keep a few cans on hand
