Makes transition to vegan so easy, especially on week nights or even a quick lunch! Convenient preparation via Air Fryer (use a baking dish for collecting the juices which will be absorbed back into the kebab if left sitting in it) or seared in a non-stick pan with olive oil for a char. Burns easy, medium to medium low depending on your burner. Great flavour! Spicy level 1/5 for people who don’t do spice, but 1/10 for others. I find the flavour better than Arlene’s classic kebab. Made a yoghurt cucumber mint sauce and it was just like a juicy, meaty kebab!

Only bought this cuz they had a buy 1 get 1 free offer, otherwise I find it really expensive at ~$13 for a pack of 3. Although I must say the kebab pieces are much bigger and more filling than what I expected from the picture on the package. As someone who has had many a kebab in my non-vegan days, I was very impressed at how closely the taste and texture was to the real thing, although somehow I found that there was something rather amiss. Maybe it was the slightly ‘grainy’ texture or that the spice combination wasn’t completely there. Enjoyed it nevertheless as an extra protein source to my quinoa, pesto and vegan feta salad 😋 So cool to see that this is even an option!
