Halawa Argan plain

First time buying this product. This halva from United Arab Emirates is very different. It's very sweet which I was expecting, but the texture is more like a soft fudge and not the crumbly texture that I was expecting. It is made from sesame tahini, sugar, vanilla, citric acid and saponaria root extract. The price is R90 so on the high side for sweets and treats, but considering its imported it could be because of that. You can eat it like this or add it to plain plant milk yoghurt, smoothies and even spread on crackers and bread. #southafrica #sweet #halawa #halva
