A gift from friends who spotted it at Cape Town International on their return from an overseas holiday. Apparently, it is still only available at the airport. The colour disappointed me. It just looks like milk 😕 Taste-wise, it's like drinking coconut cream with a dash of alcohol... I'll use the rest of it when making shots.
Amarula has finally caught up with the world and came out with a vegan version. Instead of cow’s milk, they used #coconut and the result is absolutely fantastic! It’s a must try for any amarula or #coconutlover The taste of the fruit comes across nicely. The only difference I can see is the colour, but do I care? Absolutely not! My non-vegan friends said they should just use coconut as default as it’s so much better. I will buy this again 😋
My friend and I bought this to try it out. It's supposed to have a flavour of like caramel and coconut. At first I was just BAM hit with alcohol flavour but then a caramel flavour hit so it was a shock but then hm pretty good. Couldn't really taste the coconut though. It was alright, not something I would chug or so but it's something I would sip. I would also like to try to use this in different types of drinks as well.
Man,Amarula brings back so many happy memories ❤️ tastes like home. Just sad that you can’t actually buy it in SA, happy to have it in NL. Delicious, tastes just like the original (sliiiight coconut taste though)
