Really good and excellent price, lots of protein and tasty. A great alternative to normal
spaghetti.
spaghetti.
otherwise, but I was really pleasantly surprised - they have a slight earthy/savoury taste & a lovely texture (somewhere between white & wholewheat pasta).
Made with black soya beans they have a high protein content (15g/100g cooked weight). I treated them like noodles & added some toasted sesame oil to have them as a side to a stir fry which was really delicious. š The taste is so mild I think they'd be fine to sub for pasta in most dishes though. š
Definitely something I'd look out for if in Aldi. š

rather than a hot dish with tomato sauce...FYI. But for low fat, high fiber and high protein bean noodles at a great price Aldi cannot be beat!
nutrition! I put it with some Alpro cream, garlic, capers and broccoli and it was mega. It's a little bit expensive at Ā£1.79 and won't be in Aldi forever as it's a special so get it before it's gone!
