I like this “traditional” flavored plant-based #burger. However, I’ve found I should only eat half a burger at a meal. If I eat the whole burger at once I’m still tasting it a few hours later (which I don’t like 😠). The second time I cooked one, I only ate half a burger, and I used the other half as crumbles in a quesadilla the next day. I do like that it’s low calorie and low fat. I probably won’t buy again, but will finish the box. #veganin2022
This brand offers similar taste to fast food vegan patties but better. Other than combined with vegan cheese, slices of an avocado, and condiments these pack a ton of nutrients!
Beyond Meat and Impossible burgers are taking over. And while those are great for an indulgence, traditional plant-based burgers, whether soy-based or vegetable-based, definitely win the contest for nutrition. You can easily double up these burgers for a whopping 20g of protein (there are 10 in each, but only 80 calories per serving). While the taste and texture aren’t “meaty” like the aforementioned burgers, many of us aren’t even always—if ever—looking for that. These definitely taste like soy burgers, but the seasoning in these really kicks up the flavor several notches. I definitely wolfed down this burger. Add your favorite plant-based cheese and toppings, and you’ll have yourself an extremely satisfying and filling burger.
