I really enjoyed these bites! They are not seasoned other than their base seasoning

so they are versatile. Their base seasoning is very savory and delicious. I like the bite size pieces, as they are perfect to throw in salads, pastas or a stir fry. Fast and easy to cook up. The protein is great! 16 grams per 160 cals. Soy based and gluten free.

The only negative is that the packaging all seems to be a waste. It is packaged w plastic film and a cardboard tray, but the cardboard tray has a wax like film, making it ineligible for recycling. Is it better than a plastic tray? Not sure as many labeled as recyclable don’t get recycled. In any case we need to #dobetter

The price is on par with similar products. I do not get to Whole Foods very often but I would repurchase this one.

We added these chicken-style bites to a curry sauce the other day and they were

delicious. Great texture, perfect chewiness and size. They do really well in a sauce.
Also, i have to note that the nutritional value of these bites is impressive: 1 serving gives you 31% of your daily protein needs, 18% of your daily needed fiber, and 20% of your daily recommended potassium intake. Fir iron, the number is 15%. Wow!

Pretty good, texture was fine, comes flavored but added my own blend of spices to

make them taste better.

I’m back on the app with #veganuary .
While I’m not new to the idea of

soy chicken commonly found in Asian vegetarian food, this version of mock chicken pieces had a new twist and packs a crunch when pan-fried.
