Error with restaurant "{name}"

Yesterday @[brentvda](user-63e8a6b6fe5930e1649123ce) and I were in an #[allveganrestaurant](hashtag-60159d355a228bbbc088d105) (Pepas Leuven🍟), and we were approached by a journalism student. She said they have a veggie campagne at their college, and wanted to take a short interview from us about the food we were eating there.
Her first and most highlighted question was: “Do you taste any difference with meat?” We were kind of dissapointed about this question tho, Is that really the most important thing? Also, How are we supposed to know, We’re not meat experts, I don’t accurately remember how meat tastes😅 
It was very clear she wasn’t vegan herself. She was astonished, really with a face like this 😧, when we told her that we’ve been vegan for years. Her face really made me think she thought vegans don’t exist and only people who occasionally want to eat occasionally plantbased visit these places, or vegetarians🤣😅
All and all I’m happy they specifically went to a vegan restaurant and are interested in it! It just felt so “Omg actual, all restricting vegans exist?? You never cheat??” LOL (she didn’t actually say that, I just felt like that’s what she was thinking 😂)

As strange as her questions were, hopefully she will learn from this, and better yet, share in article that yes vegans exist and we don't all cheat 😀
I learnt some new things recently, in episode 53 of How I Vegan Podcast. Photo paper and toilet paper are often not vegan but motorbike seats and boots usually are 🤣

Oh I didn’t know that, It really amazes me, if you look closely, lots of things aren’t vegan. Leather seats are everywhere, today I went to a restaurant with vegan options on their menu, but all their chairs were coverend in fur! I mean wtf!

Wow yeah that's weird. I am always happy to find vegans working at vegan restaurants 😀 It doesn't always mean the restaurant is perfect but you at least know there will be someone to try and keep them on track!
