#actionalert The Utah state legislature is reacting to Direct Action Everywhere’s unanimous not guilty verdict in their trial regarding an open rescue of piglets Lily and Lizzy by changing the law so that #animalrescue of sick or injured #animals is specifically illegal. Wayne and Paul were acquainted on all counts despite not being able to show the jury all the evidence or even describe the experience, and Smithfield was breaking the law and continues to do so in their incredibly inhumane treatment of their #pigs . Please consider contacting #utah ‘s House Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment Committee, especially chair Keven Stratton, and voice your feedback, no matter where you’re from. I emailed every single member of the House with this message, but calling also works great. Their contact info is easily available with a quick #ecosia search (which if you don’t know is a #nonprofit version of Google that plants a tree for every ad clicked on its search engine). sninkelletti Thank you friend 💚 . Those who seek to lead are by definition those incapable of empathy almost always. They seek power and domination over others because they don’t understand that others have the same value as they do, and often also fear the other because they think we’re all like that. I read a great book about why that is, it’s in one of my previous posts.
