What fun! In childhood, I adored Kraft mac-n-cheese. It was easy, it was tasty & it was comfort.
(Which is a long way of saying, âadulting meâ was elated to see the Kraft/NotCo plant-based colab in store.)

I grew up in the Bronx (Parkchester) and way back then it was a great place to be a kid. Stickball games in the street, basketball in the playground. Very thankful to have grown up around all kinds of people and had all kinds of friendsâŠbut it did spoil me on pizza. ð1 likeReply
I gave the new âvegan pizza at Whole Foodsâ strategy a go today, all ready to order a whole pieâŠand found out why I hadnât seen it by the slice there in a while: âWe donât make vegan pizza anymore.â Disappointing since it was consistently available where I used to live. Câest la vie. Thankfully there are other whole pie options elsewhere.
On a NY vegan pizza note, Iâve read a lot of good things about Screamerâs Pizza in Brooklyn. If/when I make it back to the city Iâm going to be sure to check it out. I believe itâs 100% vegan!ð± 1 likeReply

I donât know of a jar return program for this brand, though I do recycle via my town. In this case, Iâve kept the jars for home reuse. Theyâre kind of small, so not sure what Iâll use them for yet, maybe tiny leftovers I canât ever bring myself to throw away? Reply
Not a creature was stirring? Well, in our house they certainly were.
At around 3 am last night, Teddy thought she heard Santa & as we crept downstairs, we spied a tiny hootenanny-soirée, hosted by the house mouse.

We sent our mail-in ballots and had hope for a different outcome. I can't imagine what it feels like now, as the reality is very disturbing - so much so that I haven't slept well since the election. And hopefully there will be the chance to "correct" the course of history again in the near future.
