Spied this pressed cake of steamed cassava topped gula melaka-soaked grated coconut as I was leaving Malaysia Boleh - and literally circled back for a second round because I am an oportunistic nibbler like that 😉. This was nowhere as good as the handmade stuff from Heng Heng at Maxwell Food Centre, but good enough for a revisit of this way-underrated tapoica kueh.
