Croquettes have a special place in my heart, though my doctor used to insist he meant my arteries. I’m sure he’d be delighted to know that these are #mushroom based & that I’m much healthier now without the murder in my life — #govegan by the way. These #croquettes are fantastic! Perfectly crisp on the outside & a starchy soft on the inside. Some balls have a surprise larger chunk of #shiitake in them. The #braised sauce they put on it was surprisingly mild. Croquettes are a very important part in Belgian and dutch cuisine and I LOVE them 😋😋 (They originally originate from France tho)
