For a lot of people going vegan is hard because it is hard to renounce to some tastes they used to love...it was for me with cheese. Even if I didn't eat a lot of it, thinking of renouncing completely was hard. This Softy helped me A LOT. I love his salty taste and his texture, you can eat it with bread, alone, as an aperitif...
I don't mind the brownish color it has inside, that shows at first sight that it isn't the dairy product it seems to be from the outside.
Unfortunately the production of cashew nuts is not so ethical either...but it's a first step and a shimmer of hope for a kinder future.
