El Veganito is my go to burrito spot in San Diego! We know Mexican food here in SD and this place is legit delicious! There are 4 vegan spots in this corner of Grossmont Center. Give them a try when you're in town.

The whole restaurant is 100% vegan/plant based and these were AMAZING! Very good portion for the price ($14). Their hot sauces are also soooo good— red is a medium, green is hot— if you can handle the heat definitely add the green one to this. The friend I was with ordered the California burrito ($14) which was also very delicious (but poorly wrapped). It was a HUGE portion and we split the second half for lunch the next day.

El Veganito has the most incredible vegan Mexican food. I am obsessed with these tacos and you can get their adobada soy meat on loaded fries too! So flavorful and the portions are huge. The staff is always extremely nice too. If I lived any closer I’d be there every weekend. Located in the Grossmont Center food court.
