I love Parkway's pizza, but sometimes it's fun to mix it up. I liked trying out this sandwich, but I think I'll still choose the pizza for delivery. This sandwich has vegan sausage, marinara, onion, and vegan mozzarella. It's a bit dry, but it might be better in the store. It still wasn't bad. It's so cool that Parkway uses local vegan meats! This pizza has pepperoni and sausage from The Herbivorous Butcher, mushroom, onion, green pepper, and green olives. They also stock HB chicken for other dishes. I was surprised they square cut the pizza! It made me feel like I was at a kid's birthday party. I'm sure you can request regular cuts if you want. I really enjoyed the crust and sauce. It reheated well the next day too! It's exciting to have a place that has multiple vegan meat options! I think Parkway is the only place in the Twin Cities that offers vegan artichoke dip. Reverie and Seed Cafe both used to, but Reverie hasn't had it on their menu in years and Seed is closed. I was happy to discover that I now live within the delivery distance of a Parkway Pizza. It was nice to have a movie night in with pizza while we watched Sinners (2025). Great movie, highly recommend! This artichoke dip is great! It's heavy on the artichoke and isn't overly creamy. This makes it keep pretty well. I've had vegan artichoke dip time pretty gelatinous in the past, probably because of the cheese they used. I like that they add a little spice to it! The bread they serve it with is really thin.
