There’s just something so comforting about #curried #potatoes ☺️ @dafnelately always make it a point to check with this place that none of our orders contain ghee or dairy of any kind 🤨 I’m afraid I don’t have much to say as this was a simple #indian #curry dish 😋 The #potato ? Just the right amount of softness and moisture 😊 The curry? Just the right amount of #spicy for my personal #spice tolerance 😛 Everything was just nicely #thicc and stew-like in consistency 👏 It’s a great punch of flavours and #aromatics for the price of RM7 😉 I’d say this is a good place to find options while appeasing omnivorous friends 🥸

I’d like to thank @m1tch9i for steering me towards this instead of having me make the same mistake by ordering their #gobimanchurian again 🫢 This is hardly the most impressive #gobi65 but on the theme of all their dishes, it’s wonderfully unique! The batter here’s #eggfree but remember to always ask 😉 It’s also quite lean on the oil which for an otherwise supposedly unhealthy #fritter is #toohealthy 😅 Plus is my mom enjoyed the healthiness! #veganisnotscary #indianfood

In my #indianfood journey, I’ve just been slowly going through the #masala selections. This round, we’ve got #chanamasala which is, apparently, #chickpeas 😝🤟 It’s pretty much just like the mushroom masala I reviewed last. The #curry was nicely #thicc and #saucy 😋 There’s so much beautiful #aromatics to supply the gently cooked #chickpea with much flavour😛 It also gave a yummy savouriness with a generous wash of sweetness across your palate 🤪 RM 10 may seem like a push for a small-ish bowl of the humble chickpea. However, it’s so #carbsforlife that you get filled right up! 😮‍💨 #veganindiancuisine has yet to fail me and I doubt it ever will 😜

I understand the need for businesses to keep costs low but somehow I don’t foresee this 🤔 and by this, I mean the total absence of variety. It’s tough because the #curry was nice and thicc. Not to mention, #indianfood is always well spiced. The only slightly displeasing thing was the clear use of only canned button #mushrooms 😐 I personally don’t have any particular issues with this since I grew up on it. However, having had so much better mushrooms as of late, I think my standards have been raised. Suddenly, it’s more unnatural than I remember. It’s got a bloated and a gelatinous rubberiness. I also don’t recall it being this slippery 😶 At RM 10 for curried #buttonmushroom from the can, i can see the profit margins 😑 It’s tough… This is probably too processed of a ‘shroom for the avid #mushroomlover 🍄

I’m just gonna embrace the fact that I’m gonna review a never ending stream of #icedtea especially with lemon. Again at this restaurant, it’s so curiously perfectly sweet. Maybe they’re just good at sweetening any of their drinks 🤔 RM 2.80 might not be too bad…

An omnivorous friend ordered this for the table. He even looked up how it’s made to confirm it’s #naturallyvegan 🥳 Thank you #veganindiancuisine 🙏 despite the mouthful of a name 😅 It’s a more concentrated and purely savoury #curry coating a bunch of potatoes. #vegancurry or not, a little more salty-sweet would’ve been preferable. It’s still delicious with perfectly cooked potatoes 😋 It wasn’t the spiciest. Clearly this one is more based in dry chilli that invoke a slow-building heat. A total win for me 👏 RM 10 for a bowl of curried potatoes could be construed as not worthwhile. On the other hand, it fills you up well and is unquestionably tasty 😜 #indianfood will always be among the best of #veganmeals 👍

I thought the plain Pulao would’ve come out more aromatic. I took the first bite and realised… oh it’s alright, I’m good 👌😅 A little FYI for the uninitiated, Pulao just means they’re using basmati rice. Ever so fragrant and fluffy 😊 RM 4 sounds surprisingly alright. I thought it’d be pricier 🧐 I actually would recommend you get this if it’s in rue of regular rice every time, even the plain 🥸

There were 3 of us at lunch. We NEEDED to share 2 plates only because Indian servings of rice are often large. Yeah… sure it’s just white rice 😅 RM 2 is nothing unusual. I’m gonna tell you what I wish I told my friend before ordering this: there are better rice options here.

I hope I didn’t misread but I think this is supposed to be this specific lemon lime fruit juiced. Anyway… Every time I order the #juice here it tastes the same: suspiciously swell sweetened and indomitably diluted at the same time. It’s strange to not mind being ripped off because it’s not healthy 😂 RM 3 is of considerable value for the size but they ARE cutting corners so it averages out 🫱 Is it weird I’d order it again? 😅

It’s a good thing drinks can be reviewed or there’d be less to show #forthedollar 😅 While I’ve been trying to make my way through all the juices on this place first, they were somehow all out 🥲 I’m glad they didn’t just give it to me with the #tea bag just thrown in there immediately. I drink #greentea every day at the office so I can definitively say this one was not brewed too strong. Just sayin’ 🙃 Bonus points for them not bringing the cup too scalding hot either 👍 RM 2 is a little much but the food here is where you find more value. I’ll still always recommend this Bombay 👏

Made sure to be extra careful with recommended orders this time. Despite the waiter’s seemingly impatient demeanour, y’a gotta start really growing thicker skin as a #vegan 🥸 We’ve got a simple serving of brinjal cooked in a #vegancurry stew of aromatics. Apparently, this is #naturallyvegan and, in fact, not spicy 🧐 That being said, I could’ve enjoyed this to perfection with a little more kick of heat 🔥 I give high praise to the cooking and cut of the brinjal slices. Maybe it’s a little much but I think something that plays to the convenience and ease of munching deserves praise 😜👏 It’s a much sweeter #curry but I assume it’s simply because that’s how non-spicy curries are best enjoyed #indianfood or not, I might’ve wanted more saltiness to accompany the sweet 🤨 While it seemed small at first, this deceptively filling goo comes out at RM 7. Not too bad, if you ask me… 😉 I’d recommend getting this with a little more spice next time. However, I think this could be a nice choice for kids 👍

Oh, just… the legendary #basmatirice 😏 There’s nothing else quite like it. Cooked as well as #rice needs to be, not too greasy either; which is much appreciated. There’s also a thoughtful medley of vegetables: carrots, long beans, baby corn and such. While I don’t care for the inclusion of the basil very much, it contributes a wonderful aroma. Solid light seasoning on a pleasantly light dining experience too 😜 RM 10 for a humble mountain to share. It’s, certainly, always #worthit with #indianfood 😋 Easy recommend 👌
