outlet) Somehow the marination is done better for the karubi and it masks most of the mock meat taste. It is pricey though, 15.80 sgd. Harami has a meatier texture.
Although I must say, the proportion of meat in this is significantly lesser than the real meat options.

that the sauce they use to marinate the meats by default is not vegan - good thing the manager told us cause we wouldn't have known. But you can always let them know to have it without sauce and they will give you salt/pepper instead to season. Even without the sauce this was sooooo yummy after grilling, better than Aburi-en's in my opinion. 🤤 A bit pricy but would come back again. Hope they keep it on the menu!

It is my first time trying NEXT meats- wouldn’t say it tastes exactly like meats, but the marinate is pretty good. I think the darker one is quite salty, will just order the other one next time. :)
BTW, the additional cost for drinks is just bottled soft drinks. Not worth it to buy with the set! Bring your own water :D
it had a good bite and wasn't oily at all.
