Vegan Raw chocolate “cheesecake”

The chocolate was really rich and creamy. The crust is naturally made from crushed nuts it seems, making it suitable for gluten free diets. This would win any chocolate lover's heart like me :p

A very healthy slice of chocolate cake. I’d say this is more of a chocolate mousse with an oats, dates and nuts base. Not the tastiest and doesn’t really taste much like cheesecake but still a pretty decent healthy option for cake!!

The raw chocolate cheesecake cost $10.50. This cake had an indulgently rich texture due to the blend of almonds, cashews, walnuts, coconut butter, and coconut oil. I enjoyed the deep taste of the raw cacao, which was naturally sweetened with dates and honey.

I’ve seen a lot of good reviews for this so this is probably a good cake, just not something I’m into. It had a date flavour to it that I personally didn’t care for and I felt like the crust disappeared into the cake. Overall, I do think it’s a nice cake, just that it’s not something I’d reach for. #chocoholic
