Natto Kitsune

Beancurd so crispy! Will order this again next time if go w colls

I love natto so I decided to try this dish which said something like natto folded in beancurd skin. I love beancurd too so why not ? I was pleasantly surprised that it was fried beancurd skin or “tau pok” (Hokkien) filled with natto. When I had my first bite, I was like blown away! And to be fair I am familiar with izakayas and japanese dishes but never tried anything like this. I checked with the server and she told me everything here was authentic japanese including the beancurd. I would definitely be looking out for the beancurd skin in the supermarket the next time!
