Perfect breakfast for a morning in Cape Town. Similar to a Salmon on toast but
instead they use thin slices of cured and smoked carrot.

This was an amazing breakfast - carrot lox, pickles, capers, cucumber, half an avocado and
house made cashew cream cheese on rye.
I thought it was totally delicious and excellent value in a lovely local spot.

So delicious! Mine was on sourdough. I loved it! :)
I still dream about this. The carrot is perfectly marinaded and all the flavors blend
together so well!
