Maggi Goreng

Oh my gosh talk about #throwbackthursday! I literally wrote this review back on my last flight to Kuching while the whole #veganisnotscary campaign was still going #throwback 😅 Better late than never, I suppose? My friends and I came here crawling after a hike, nay, jungle crawl following the app’s few #veganfriendly suggestions in the area 🚞 This dish just called to me more than any of the roti dishes did 😅 I’m just a sucker for #noodles, these instant maggie types especially! It has to to be #veganized by having them #droptheegg but this is no problem here 😉 They seem to know the #vword like the back of their roti! 🫓 For S$5 the portion is a bit lacking but considering we ordered 4 dishes for 3, we really didn’t need more 😌 It was great though! As this dish is already vegetarian as is, it included #tofu for protein unlike the many #maggie style dishes you’d usually get in an establishment like this. I was even more surprised by how “healthy” it tasted! Overall I’m really impressed! It really seems like there isn’t a place in Singapore where I can’t find vegan food 🌱 #veganisnotscary ftw!! 🙌

It's easy to veganize this Maggi goreng dish because it comes with tofu and vegetables. Just ask them to remove the egg and add more tofu. Mine came with a generous helping of tofu. Yay.
