Bánh xèo nam bộ~ Thin and crispy (not greasy) rice flour crepes made yellow with turmeric powder, stuffed with sliced 'ham', mushrooms, and mung bean sprouts. 🌮🍄 Served with pickled carrot and radish, alongside lots of lettuce, Thai basil, and mint. Also came with vegan fish sauce dip with roasted peanuts. 🥕🌿🥜 We could add rice paper (+$2) to wrap everything together, which is the more Northern Vietnamese style of enjoying the dish! Personally would have liked the pancake filling to be slightly more generous, but regardless it was a fun and healthy dish to eat with lots of fresh greens.
