Salteado De Heura Con Verduras Y Soja

So unusual to find one of these seafront restaurants with anything resembling vegan food - this has the main "Salteado de Huera" clearly marked on the menu as vegan, and the waiter confidently confirmed it was vegan. This feels like a real step forward to have a dedicated section on the menu, really happy to see. The sauteed Huera was really good - lots of mixed veg, some garlic-tomatoes and scoops of swede - all went surprisingly well together.

We were so happy to find this vegan dish and it was sooo delicious. Sauteed Heura bites with tender vegetables and a light soy sauce, with a squash pureé and condiment of olive oil, garlic and cherry tomatoes. This is the only vegan entreé, along with a few appetizers/tapas or a veganized salad. The Kiosk is right off the beautiful black sand Tazacorte beach, at the very end of the boardwalk.
