G-forbid me from partaking in this black rice, also known as forbidden rice, because it is so good! Properly cooked down to a thick consistency, this sticky black rice was doused with a good heaping of coconut milk. Just look at that inkblot-like sculpture. Sheer poetry! Today is my last day around the Haig Road Food Centre vicinity and these Chinese desserts, apart from soy beancurd, were the only veganfriendly options left past 2pm.
