This vegan breakfast was a bit of a flop! The cafe didn't have any vegan sausages in stock, the toast was served with two packets of dairy butter perched on top, and the 'avocado crush' didn't taste very fresh. It was a bit sour and slimy, to be honest. Oh, and the coffee machines were out of order so I couldn't even wash the taste away 🤣.
To give Morrisons Cafe some credit, the hash browns, baked beans, tinned tomatoes and toast were all very tasty. The staff were also genuinely lovely. They were clearly a bit stretched and struggling with the workload, but they were nevertheless very kind and very apologetic about the mishaps.
I appreciate the inclusion of vegan options on the menu, but they aren't doing a great job of delivering them, going by today's experience.
Top marks for lovely staff, but the food was a bit pants.
