Mixed Vegetables

Recently, I had the distinct pleasure of an early Sunday supper at Joy’s with my dear globetrotting friend. I ordered the mixed vegetable plate, which I was assured is vegan. (I mention this because it’s served in a mystery brown sauce, however, I questioned & observed our server in the way any good vegan detective does: kindly, casually & succinctly. 😂) I picked tofu as my protein & swapped the crunch noodles for a side of fat rice noodles.
