I hadn’t had a tamale in 40+ years. Very good. Looks lousy in this foto since it’s dabao but in the restaurant they do it very nicely a piece of pineapple

This was SO good! The last time I had tamales was at a quaint little café in London, and I loved them so much - but I could never find them in SG. So, I was stoked to discover that Mami’s Tamales offers a vegan one right here in SG! The mushrooms were cooked perfectly and had a lovely flavour. The only downside was that there was just one vegan tamale option when I visited, though there were vegan sides and starters available. I also wish they served perhaps two tamales for the price ($15). The horchata (not pictured) was also delicious. #vegantamales #vegandinner
