This was such a beautiful lunch. TPF sure knows how to make salad bowls. The housemade garlic hummus was all kinds of gorgeous. I liked the roasted pumpkin too. Together with tofu cubes, fresh crisp veggies, chickpeas, corn and edamame beans, plus a side of quinoa. Pretty to look at, and just layered so nicely. Garlic hummus is quite spicy but great portion! Healthy & clean tasting, tho wish other ingredients can be more & lesser quinoa instead.
Quinoa bowl with a large variety of ingredients - roasted potato, carrot, and kabocha squash, tofu, chickpeas, edamame, sesame seeds, corn kernels, cherry tomatoes, and lettuce. The tofu and chickpeas seemed a bit plain and unseasoned at first sight, but the overall dish was flavourful when all the ingredients were tossed together. The highlight of the dish was the housemade garlic hummus made with organic chickpeas, tahini, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, fresh garlic, and spices. Smooth and creamy (slightly runny), not dry at all despite being lower in oil. Also savoury and fragrant, yet not overwhelmingly strong or pungent. It was my non-veg friend's first time trying hummus and he was full of praise for it. Always love the colourful healthy grain bowls here!
