I’ve been waiting quite a while to review this restaurant as it took some time to get it registered 🥸 No matter… Just glad we’re here now 😌
Now, I can’t tell if it’s clear or not from the pictures; but what we’re looking at is tofu skin. Visually, I think it’s brilliant. I think it really looks like a chopped roasted drumstick. The way they managed to sear the outer layer of a drumstick shaped roll was just some admirable culinary work; it really was a great #foodimposter 👏 It’s a sweet and lightly sticky sauce that tastes great on the seared parts of the skin. The rest of it is a little chewier but still soft 😋 About the vegetably sides… I’m actually not a fan of dressing so I, especially, was grateful there wasn’t any. This has never happened before 😂 so extra points for my bias. The only thing is… even though it was a generously balance portion of the tofu, it can get tiring to eat over time. I’d have to have an additional side to make this meal feel complete. It’s still more pros than cons 😉
RM 8.90 on Grab may cause apprehension for such a simple dish but it fills you up just right so still #worthit
I certainly think it’s worth trying👌
