Redemption arc!! 👏 The last time I had a #curry here I was super disappointed 😅 I’m so glad this was not a flop 😋 Delicious in fact! It actually is a #dhal proper with a very fluffy aromatic serving of rice 🍚 If I’d change one thing though ☝️ I’d probably swap the #potatoes for a protein 🥔 It’s a little too heavy, carbs-on-carbs, but I suppose any #omnivegandining spot just assumes us all to be #carbivore 😛 Do note that this is not #alliumfree and I have no clue if they have the option even 🧅 but it also includes quite a bit of the #evilweed so you may tell them not to include it 🙅‍♀️ Or you can just choose to not be proactive and then leave a piss review and feel like a victim to the #coriander agenda 🦧 S$18 for this by the way 💆‍♀️ That’s like, 6 packs of #dal at NTUC 💸

Loved the taste of the madras curry, which was creamy and savoury; not too spicy or oily. Consisted of lentils (which still retained some bite and wasn't mashed into a paste), long beans, broccoli, eggplant, carrots, and tender potatoes (very fragrant, I think they were pre-fried/baked beforehand). Not that authentic but definitely flavourful and with a good variety of vegetables! Served with basmati rice topped with crispy shallots. Very filling and somewhat starchy; perhaps some of the potatoes could have been swapped to higher-protein ingredients such as tofu. But then again I did love the potatoes hahaha.
